The first post-covid Wealth Management Without Boundaries event was held last night in the prestigious Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin’s city centre. Keynote speaker for the evening was world-renowned economist, David McWilliams. McWilliams’ presentation was greeted with rapturous applause at its close after putting his usual quirky take on the current macro outlook with references to Lenin, poetry, the weather and property!
In addition to McWilliams, Richard Collins (Founder of Walfrid Private, the event sponsor) spoke on wealth management and how all SME Business Owners should engage in centralized Wealth Management systems in order to Future Proof finances and Wealth Development. Richard also discussed the favourable conditions of the Zero Tax Property vehicle where his clients have produced passive cashflow into their pensions by using their retirement accounts to purchase property. Rental Income and growth is Tax Free.
Damien Malone of Malone & Co. Accountants joined the seminar virtually and gave his outlook on the current landscape of taxation in Ireland. Ann Kelly from Malone & Co was on-hand to present and to field some questions from the audience.
Tom Gannon, co-founder of Fulfil Energy Bars and Cali Cali Foods, gave an inspiring discussion on his background and journey to an audience who were left awe-inspired.
There was also a Fund update from Peter Smith of Aviva PLC.
